Peter Robbins first met fellow painter Budd Hopkins in 1976, five years prior to the publication of the legendary author and investigator’s book, “Missing Time.” It had been less than a year since the two had embarked on their individual studies of the UFO phenomenon. Their shared fascination with and commitment to this subject, and shared passion with the history of painting, among other subjects, helped to forge a deep personal friendship between the two, it would come to serve them both throughout the years. Robbins worked as Hopkins assistant. During which he did some of his most important writing and investigation of literally hundreds of incidences of UFO related abduction and that of his sister Helen. In this particularly personal talk, Peter Robbins talks about those years with Budd with attention paid to Hopkins’ the ufologist, artist, writer, humorist, foundation director, media presence, humanist, and ultimately as the world’s best known UFO investigator.
