50th Anniversary of Jackie & Baseball

In the spring of 1997, the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University sponsored a conference to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the Color Barrier in Major League Baseball.  Participating in this program were Athletes, writers, journalists, professors and celebrities.  The following recordings are from some of the speakers at that program, appropriately held in Brooklyn.
